After making a huge splash in London the past week, men's fashion week moves on to Milan. According to the schedule shared by CNMI, the fashion week is set to grace the city of Milan from 16th June to 20th June, with several high fashion brands like Valentino and Prada headlining the event.
Last year designers gave us the most colourful and whimsical men’s collection—while Prada went for pastels plus Ginghams, and denim on denim, Fendi gave us renditions of animal prints. Moschino dedicated its show to the late artist Tony Viramontes by using bright neon colours and Tony’s illustrations in their collection.
Milan Fashion Week 2024 will also see Indian homegrown designer Dhruv Kapoor showcasing his latest collection. Well known for his work in streetwear fashion, his most recent line up carried many references to Japanese popular culture like the mighty kaiju Godzilla or anime characters. Additionally, he is known to be very adept in bringing the magic of Harajuku into the streets of India.
