One of the world’s most prestigious, glamorous events, the Cannes Film Festival is a can’t-miss. Year after year, celebrities pull off some of the most iconic looks that leave us awe-struck and inspired. This year was no different. In fact, this year is more special as many Indian celebrities made their debut on the red carpet. And today we’re going to talk about one such Cannes debutant—business tycoon and billionaire philanthropist, Sudha Reddy.

Reddy made history by being the first non-film celebrity from Hyderabad to walk the famed red carpet. Due to her well-established commitment to charity and community service, her four-day itinerary primarily includes philanthropic-led appearances that will see her rub shoulders with philanthropic tycoons in order to forge long-term alliances with other global foundations.

She turned heads at the Cannes Film Festival with her looks this week. Let’s break them down, shall we?

On the first day of her debut, Reddy unleashed grace and glamour. For the official Cannes Luncheon, she donned a  bespoke Neeta Lulla jet black satin gown with a bejewelled sequin trailing cape. She completed her look with faux leather gloves, a Versace hand purse, a double tiger choker adorned with emeralds and white opals plated in 24K gold from Roberto Cavalli's Spring 2013 runway collection.

For the premier of Les Filles D'Olfa, she wore a couture Neeta Lulla silverish grey body-fitting evening gown. The dreamy fairy-tale ensemble consisted of intricate embroidery and sequins with a head trail. She accessorised with a Valentino shoulder bag in crystal metallic sunshine and antique brass. The Harry Winston Secret Combination Diamond Necklace set in platinum added an extra oomph to her outfit. Her subtle make-up and elegant hairdo spotlighted her aesthetic look.

For the premier of director Martin Scorsese and actor Leonardo DiCaprio's film Killers Of The Flower Moon, Reddy chose a custom-made Falguni Shane Peacock peach pearl drape saree in tulle with a ruffled organza drape and an adjoining trail with delicate hand beaded roses and sparkling crystals.

This ensemble of delicate tulle and intricately embroidered corsetry combined traditional influences and contemporary flair. It also features sparkling beadwork and three-dimensional flowers with a delicate fan juxtaposed against the bold textures of the garment. She paired the look with embellished hand gloves, fine jewellery by PMJ Jewels and a Hermes handbag. Her make-up and hairdo were inspired by vintage Hollywood. Reddy also attended the Madame Figaro event held at the beach destination Plage at the hotel Barriere Le Majestic.

For her third red carpet appearance, she donned a cherry red embellished ruffle evening gown by Neeta Lulla with a dramatic trailing cape. The bespoke couture piece embellished with crystals beads and sequins in the bodice with yards of silk organza ruffled into voluminous skirt at the bottom. The shoulder trail structured with boning and textured in pre crushed organza and ruffles highlighted with hand embroidery added to the drama of the garment. She accessorised the majestic look with a metallic gold Valentino bag and drop diamonds by MBJ Jewels.

Following her red-carpet outing, Reddy attended the Better World Gala at the Carlton Hotel, alongside prominent billionaires and celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio, Amitabh Bachchan, and others. Her Cannes visit came to a full circle with the regal and elegant Chopard Gala.
