Think summer, and it instantly takes me back to the days of High School Musical 2, where Sharpay Evans, dressed in a cute white swimsuit with a loose fuchsia pink cotton cardigan lays beside the pool, sips on some iced tea and sings the film’s iconic number, Fabulous. And this was only one of her poolside looks. Come sunshine season, it’s all about experimenting with bright colours, boho-chic accessories, and swimsuits with a side of tan lines and sandy hair. If you’re planning to go on a beach vacay this summer and are on the lookout for new ways to style your beachwear or want to pamper yourself with some retail therapy and splurge on one (or more) swimsuits—look no further. If you want to opt for the complete boho-chic aesthetic, there’s no one better than Vanessa Hudgens. On a recent trip to Philippines, the actor wore a floral, multi-coloured bandana that matched perfectly well with her floral bikini. She completed the look with some layered jewellery and hooped earrings. 

You also opt for something more minimal like the dark brown bikini that she paired with a belly chain. 

Sakshi Sindhwani 

For those looking for something to wrap around your swimsuit for a stroll on the beach, this flowy black dress worn by Sindhwani is definitely something we’d recommend. You can accessorise with earrings or even a cute hairband and sunglasses. 

We’re all heart for this pink bikini top that Sindhwani paired with matching flared pants and a kaftan-style wrap around. 

Ananya Panday 

If you’re looking for something super simple yet chic, then this sky blue/grey bikini is perfect. You can choose to accessorise it with layered necklaces, earrings and sunglasses, or leave it plain and simple. The printed orange cardigan also screams summer in every way. 

We also love this absolutely adorable bright yellow sundress printed with black and white flowers. Like Panday, you can accessorise it with fresh flowers for a summery hairdo, and pair it with a minimalistic necklace.

We definitely want to cop Alaya F’s beach wardrobe. This co-ord set with batik work and sombre colours is just right for a simple beach look. 

The mustard coloured bikini is beyond stunning and we’d definitely recommend glamming it up with golden-hued accessories. The sunglasses are an absolute must! 

Ashley Graham 

You can also pair your monotone bikinis with a fitted sheer dress that is super sexy and classy. Over here, Ashley Graham finishes the look with a pair of sunglasses and some white slippers. We love. 

Hailey Bieber 

Bieber has been flaunting several super-chic summer looks recently. Our favourite, however, is this bright green bikini that she paired with an adorable bucket hat, and some layered jewellery alongwith body chain.

For those who feel most comfortable in a mono-kini or one-piece swimsuit, this orange swimsuit donned by Anushka Sharma is ideal. Like her, you can pair it with a cute poncho to cover up, and wear a bucket hat and some jewellery to go with it.
