Sabrina Carpenter’s best holiday fashion from ‘A Nonsense Christmas’

The holiday spirit arrived early this year as pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter celebrated with her A Nonsense Christmas on Netflix, a very camp, very festive special blending mischief and cheer. Recorded live over two days, the one-hour extravaganza showcased dazzling guest appearances and musical performances by stars like Shania Twain, Nico Hiraga, Cara Delevingne, and Tyla. Carpenter charmed fans with her sharp humour, enchanting vocals, and a parade of show-stopping outfits, including glittering jumpsuits, playful feathered ensembles, and sleek stilettos, all radiating the joy and vibrancy of the season.

Carpenter wore a luxurious white sheer feather-trimmed dressing gown designed by Catherine D'Lish. The piece, known as the "Lola Dressing Gown," is priced at $599 (INR 51,000) and features a delicate sheer fabric that's adorned with lavish feather trims. An outfit that perfectly captures a blend of vintage glamour and modern elegance. 

This look saw Carpenter dazzle in a vintage 1950s Christmas costume sourced from London’s West End, courtesy of Annie’s Ibiza—a boutique that's celebrated for its exceptional collection of rare and archival fashion. The outfit, radiant in a bold red hue with white fur accents, perfectly encapsulated the holiday spirit of its time. Its tailored silhouette and timeless design paid tribute to the glamorous stage wardrobes of the era, bringing a nostalgic elegance to Carpenter’s performance.

For her duet with South African singer Tyla, Sabrina wore a stunning sheer vintage 1978 Bob Mackie sequin-and-feather costume paired with silver crystal-embellished platform sandals by Le Silla. The iconic Mackie design brought a nostalgic flair, while the modern sandals added a touch of glamour. The look perfectly showcased Sabrina's knack for blending vintage and contemporary fashion into a memorable performance.

In a skit featuring Sean Astin as Santa Claus, Sabrina donned a charming blue cropped cardigan by Danielle Guizio, paired with a Blondita blue plaid bubble skirt and white platform mules by Amina Muaddi. The soft cardigan added a cosy touch, while the playful plaid skirt (popularly known as “The Katie Bubble Skirt”), and chic mules brought a festive and stylish flair to the look.

During her performance of “Santa Baby” with Shania Twain, Carpenter stunned in a black fringed mini dress with feather detailing by Javier Osorio, sourced from Annie’s Ibiza. Known as the Carmen Dress, it perfectly blends vintage cabaret charm with a contemporary edge. She completed the look with dazzling 170mm crystal-embellished platform sandals by Le Silla, adding height, sparkle, and a touch of holiday glamour to the ensemble.

Carpenter teamed up with Kali Uchis for a cosy fireside duet of "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus". The soft pink hue and delicate design of her risqué outfit added to the charming and relaxed vibe of the performance. The singer effortlessly combined comfort and style, creating a look that perfectly matched the intimate setting.

In a skit with Quinta Brunson and Cara Delevingne, Carpenter wore a mini dress with a grey bow by SHUSHU/TONG paired with white platform mules by Amina Muaddi. The dress, designed by the Chinese label, featured a striking bow detail, while the mules added a sleek, modern edge. The outfit highlighted Carpenter's unique style and fit seamlessly with the skit's festive tone.

The singing sensation teamed up with Chappell Roan to perform the iconic Wham! hit "Last Christmas" in a green velvet  outfit from Paumé Los Angeles paired with matching white fur coats, bringing a classic holiday charm to the performance.
