Having watched her husband David Beckham get his docu-series Beckham, it’s time for Victoria to jump on the train with her getting her own with the streaming giant. Right from the time she became a household name as a Spice Girl in the 90s, being the wife of a football superstar to making a name for herself as she builds a fashion empire, one can’t wait to watch a story that’s sure to have us engrossed.
The announcement made by Netflix will see the yet-to-be-titled series revolve around Beckham and her growing fashion and beauty business. “Through an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Victoria’s business, access to Victoria, her family, those closest to her and her fashion journey and including never-before-seen archive, the series will tell the story of Victoria’s reinvention as a creative director of her own brand. Her Posh Spice days may be behind her, but today Beckham is on a journey to build a fashion empire—and now fans will be able to see the story behind it all,” said Netflix in a statement.
While one doesn’t have an idea of how many episodes the series might have, audiences can expect somewhere around four episodes considering that’s how much Beckham was. Add to that, with access to her family, and friends, (we also hope for the Spice Girls— Emma Bunton, Melanie C, Geri Halliwell, and Mel B to appear), the chances of David making his presence felt are high.

Audiences would remember the epic scene in ‘Beckham’ where she became the subject of countless “be honest” memes after she was called out by her husband for saying that she grew up “working class”.
