Harry Styles’ beauty and lifestyle brand, Pleasing, is set to release three “sex-themed” fragrances

We're pleased to inform you that Harry Styles‘ beauty universe is expanding. The musician’s all-encompassing beauty and lifestyle brand, Pleasing, announced its latest venture: Fragrances (and rather sexy ones at that).

Having launched with a range of nail polish in November 2021, over the past two years, Pleasing has added skincare, lip balms, moisturisers and apparel to its portfolio. Now, it’s quietly introduced perfume as part of its repertoire, with the release of three brand-new products.

The debut scents—Closeness, Rivulets, and Bright and Hot—were made in collaboration with established natural Fragrance house Robertet. As the titles might suggest (and keeping on theme with much of Pleasing’s other marketing), the fragrance line is “sex-themed.” As Pleasing CEO, Shaun Kearney, told The Business of Beauty, “Being a brand that is deeply rooted in the exploration of colour, emotional storytelling and sensory experiences… it is a strategic move for us to expand into this category.” 

Kearney was formerly the chief design and merchandising officer at Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle company Goop—famously the brand behind the ‘This Smells Like My Vagina’ scented candle.

When will Harry Styles’ Pleasing fragrances be released?

Pleasing’s first three fragrances will be available to purchase online from the brand’s website at some point in October. An exact date is yet to be announced. Hypebeast reports that the brand plans to bring the scents into brick-and-mortar stores as well, but it is not yet clear when or where this will be.

What does Harry Styles’ Pleasing fragrance smell like?

While Pleasing is yet to release details about the fragrances’ scent profiles, the Mirror reports each has been formulated to evoke the “smell of ‘skin-on-skin’ and brief encounters.”
