When deciding upon wearing a red lipstick, it’s best to first do your base make-up and then wear the chosen red before doing the rest of the face. It helps give you a perspective on how much you want to continue to add on the rest of the face, and help achieve a balance that will make the red lips the star of the make-up”. She reminds us to hydrate our lips when prepping so that a matte lipstick can go on seamlessly when applied.
