Content creator Victoria Magrath lets us in on the secret behind her radiant skin

The style setter tells us what makes her skin sing.

From buzzy ingredients to cutting-edge formulas, the world of skincare is constantly evolving. But one thing that never goes out of fashion is the quest for radiance—that healthy glow that means you can forego the foundation and wear the no-make-up look with confidence. 

Someone who has it mastered is content creator Victoria Magrath, best known for her online fashion and beauty platform "In the frow", which she uses to share style expertise through posts and video tutorials. Though renowned for her ever-changing hair colour, she does rely on one constant—a seemingly effortless natural luminosity. So what’s her secret? 

A quick look at her bathroom shelf reveals a few clues. It’s a curated selection of high-performing products, fine-tuned to help achieve that sheen we all crave. They include her Clé de Peau Beauté picks, The Serum and La Crème.

Magrath is an ambassador for the premium Japanese skincare label, the adopted French name of which translates as ‘The Key to Skin’s Beauty’. The brand’s products help unlock the vibrancy of its customers’ complexions and, 40 years after it launched, its pairing of carefully blended ingredients and scientific prowess is still as innovative as ever. 

Magrath firmly believes that the path to looking great is to establish what your skin responds well to and stick to it. "I never skip my beauty routine and I have formed long-term, reliable relationships with a few select items," she says. "I’ve spent a lot of time getting to know my skin and what makes it sing," she adds. "A radiant complexion can really boost your confidence, with or without the addition of make-up, and I credit ensuring I always complete my twice-daily routine for that."

Magrath starts her regime with Zo Skin Health Exfoliating Cleanser, followed by an acid toner (‘My favourite is Alumier MD Bright & Clear Solution’) applied with a reusable Face Halo. She then dabs on Lumene Nordic Ageless Eye Cream to help her fully wake up and hydrates with The Serum by Clé de Peau Beauté.

Inspired by the brand’s Skin Intelligence philosophy—the idea that, like the mind, the skin is smart–The Serum features Skin Empowering Illuminator Complex, a patented technology made with Platinum Golden Silk Essence, to encourage the skin’s response to beneficial influences (sleep, nutrients, moisture) in order to repair and protect itself. "It’s a product that I just can’t live without," says Magrath.

Next in the line-up are Lumene Nordic-C Arctic Berry Oil-Cocktail for an instant boost of vitamin C and Clé de Peau Beauté Protective Fortifying Emulsion for a bright, hydrated finish, as well as UV protection.

Come evening, she recommends a similar routine, albeit with a few tweaks: swapping vitamin C for retinol (Alumier MD Retinol Resurfacing Serum 1.0), and SPF for lip balm, before a sweep of lash and brow conditioner, and a layer of Clé de Peau Beauté La Crème, a high potency moisturiser, which she describes as "the ultimate anti-ageing night cream", thanks to its restorative power. 

But one stalwart remains the same: her trusted Clé de Peau Beauté The Serum. "The Platinum Golden Silk it contains enhances the skin’s ability to defend itself from external stressors (pollution, UV, stress), while hyaluronic acid adds intense hydration, leaving my face looking and feeling smoother, more resilient and glowing," she explains. "It’s a little bottle of magic."
