Zoya, one of the most beloved Indian artisanal jewellery brands from the House of Tata celebrated its legacy of leadership in design through a showcase of its iconic collections. The event was nothing short of a gala with Gauri Khan joining Amanpreet Ahluwalia, the business head of Zoya and guests at an evening marked by a shared love for exquisite jewellery.
The maison’s creations present a virtuosity of design building on India’s traditional legacy of craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics, all while raising a toast to the resplendent nature of women everywhere. Each deeply meaningful collection by the atelier celebrates the “Zoya Woman” embracing who she is with grace and confidence.
The resplendent evening presented four of the ateliers most celebrated collections—Rooted, Banaras, Beyond-A Boundless Journey and Her Becoming—each as thoughtfully reflective of facets of the Zoya Women and it was memorable in its crafting and design.
Zoya’s Rooted is a vibrant and spirited collection that draws on the metaphorical resilience of rainforests evidenced in the unbreakable spirit of a woman. As the name suggests, Zoya’s Banaras collection is inspired by the rich heritage and the cultural splendour of the eternal city. The atelier incorporates rare materials and ancient techniques, such as Gulabi Meenakari—a rare and dying art now practised by only one family in India—as an homage to the city's iconic motifs.
Zoya’s Beyond-A Boundless Journey captures the numerous stages of a woman’s existence. Inspired by the majestic Indus river, it symbolises the feminine spirit as a force of nature. Her Becoming, consists of high jewellery pieces that feature unusual stone cuts like cadillacs, trapezoids, and custom-cut baguettes creating a very freshlook for white diamond jewellery.
“I am delighted to join Zoya in celebrating its iconic collections that narrate stories from India to the world. The atelier continues to redefine luxury jewellery for the modern era with its collections,” said Gauri Khan, echoing Zoya’s fierce pride in India’s legacy of creativity and crafting in jewellery making. “Whether it's a statement necklace or a delicate bracelet, every piece speaks volumes about the woman who wears it—confident, fearless, and unapologetically herself.”
Gauri herself adorned a necklace from Zoya’s Her Becoming collection titled ‘A Radiant Revelation’, which consisted of 738 diamonds with 132 diversely cut natural rubies. Magnificently crafted for fabric like fluidity, this is a Zoya masterpiece.
