Our favourite beauty launches this month

We spoke about the beauty boom—the increasing inundation of skincare and make-up brands on our screens and into our lives—in the last column, and never has it been more apparent than in the last two months of writing this column. The number of products we had to go through for this curation increased manifold, and our task got tougher than anticipated. But, well, we did it, and here is the list of our favourite products for March. 

Of course, before you say these aren’t all March products, we must mention that most of these are products that we have tried over three weeks at the minimum before they made it here.

Skeyndor Blue Light Technology SPF50+ Ocean Respect Protective Cream

Ah, the summer calling. Not that it should be an excuse not to slather on the sunscreen (have we not been scared enough into twice-a-day, two-fingers worth of sunscreen or we’d age like a sliced apple?), but accept it or not, we tend to fall prey to laze in the winters. Any excuse expires now. Anastasia Beverly Hills Ultra Rich Color Lip Pencil

We love a good lip pencil that screams, “hey, what luscious lips!”. Our search for that one natural shade with a perfectly creamy, stay-in-for-hours formula finally stopped at our trusted brand's two new shades—Caramel and Rosewood. With a velvet-matte finish from the brand that does pencils to the T, this one is now our go-to for a 9-to-5 look.

Another one from Deepika Padukone’s skincare line, this toner-serum is power-packed with ingredients like gotu kola and niacinamide. As has been the brand’s emphasis—gotu kola is packed with antioxidants that aid collagen production and minimise signs of ageing like dull skin, dark spots, and fine lines. This is that with the power to battle a myriad of skin problems that Indian skin falls prey to. This one is going to stay in our kits for a long time.
