Where to stay for a rainy weekend getaway

Come monsoon, tote bags are packed, rain jackets are removed from dusty and damp lofts, and gumboots are splurged on. All for a spontaneous weekend road trip in the rains, without which the season would seem incomplete. And if you haven’t yet gone on one, we’d urge you to give it a try. To make it a tad easier for you, we curated a list of places across India that are absolutely spectacular during the rainy season. Here’s your cue to take that Friday off and plan a much-needed long-weekend getaway. 

The Machan, Maharashtra
