India Couture Week closed on a high a few days ago in the capital city, and we are already gearing up for another celebrated fashion event—it's true, the world of fashion does work really hard.

The New York Fashion Week (NYFW) is back and is set to run from September 8 through 13, 2023. Last week, The Council of Fashion Designers of America released the preliminary schedule and here we give you a lowdown of all the action that is set to transpire.

Helmut Lang, who will showcase their spring collection designed by Peter Do, will open the 2023 NYFW on Friday, September 8 at 2:00 p.m, while Raul Lopez will close with the Luar show on September 13. The runway, on Friday, will also mark the return of Prabal Gurung and Collina Strada, as well as Ralph Lauren’s return to NYFW after five whole years.

The finalists of this year’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund including Kim Shui, Sami Miro Vintage, Colin LoCascio, Who Decides War, Diotima, Zankov, Kozaburo, and Tanner Fletcher are also set to showcase their collections throughout the week. Melitta Baumeister will do a digital release on September 13.

Gypsy Sport, Carolina Herrera, PH5, Khaite, and Tory Burch, are some of the 71 confirmed designers at the show. Phillip Lim will stage his 3.1 Phillip Lim show for the first-time post-pandemic. Thomas Browne, the chairman of the CFDA, showcased his collection at New York Fashion Week in February but has no plans to be part of this upcoming event.
