Dating is fun but deciding on what you want to do on a date can be a tedious affair, especially because unless you do your research well, you end up just grabbing a bite and/or drinking. Apart from your clothes and conversations, the only thing different is the location. Sometimes, to break the monotony, at-home dates can be a good change.

At-home dates offer you more privacy as you are able to express your love in a way you want to. These also provide you more comfort as you are indoors, and also give you plenty of canoodling opportunities. We all know how cute those movie nights are when you’re cuddling and watching a movie, and then you start making out right in the middle of it!

While, at-home dates come with a sense of ease, picking what to wear requires some thought. You don’t want to look like you’re going to a red carpet event but you also don’t want to look like you just rolled out of the bed.

When it comes to effortless style, polka never disappoints. Wear a polka jumpsuit featuring a relaxed fit and made out of breathable cotton or linen. Accessorise with small hoops and a bracelet. Tie your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun and you’re good to go. 

Kareena Kapoor 

Athleisure became a trend a few years ago and has refused to leave our wardrobes ever since. If you’re on board with this style, take cues from Kapoor and put on an activewear co-ord set including a pair of joggers, a sports bra or bralette, and a jacket. 

Kiara Advani 

Get the best of both worlds, as you dress up and get the feel of being outside while getting the privacy to canoodle at home. This will require a bit of pre-planning with your boo, so they don’t turn up in their gym wear while you look like you’re ready to let your hair down. Advani’s look features a pair of patent leather pants with a corset-style black-and-denim top. You can take this ‘black is beautiful’ look and tweak it to suit your requirements as well. For instance, switch the leather pants with something more breathable.
