This candle show happening in Mumbai feels straight out of a Disney movie
Here is your chance to live your 'Tangled' dream.
Remember being mesmerised by that enchanting scene in Tangled where Rapunzel and Flynn are surrounded by the surreal beauty of floating lights, with a magical background score enhancing the moment? The candlelight concert happening in Mumbai evokes a similar feeling. Picture yourself in a room illuminated by hundreds of candles, with violins playing continuously—bringing to life your favourite tunes by Coldplay or AR Rahman. It's an experience that's equally magical and unforgettable.
And we're saying that you can live it too. After performing in over 100+ cities worldwide, they are finally making their way to India, and we are absolutely ecstatic about it. They will be travelling to cities like Mumbai, Delhi, and Faridabad, starting the musical extravaganza from June.
The melodies they will play on their violins are likely to transport you to another dimension. With Bridgerton on your mind, you'll feel like a character from the Regency-era show, twirling from one end to another.
To answer your question about when it's happening, the concert tour starts on June 9 in Mumbai and Delhi, then moves to Faridabad in July. On June 2, The Grand Hyatt in Mumbai hosted the opening night for this musical recital, but if you missed it, worry not, for you'll have another chance to experience the soundtracks on July 13 and August 4.
The Four Seasons Mumbai will host a concert paying tribute to Coldplay's greatest hits, performed by the group. These concerts will take place on June 15, July 19, and August 17.
For those in Delhi, don't miss the show "From Mozart to Chopin" at the SRCPA on June 14, July 12, and August 9, celebrating the legendary composers Mozart and Chopin.
Additionally, the same venue will host "Best Movie Soundtracks" on June 28, July 26, and August 23. That's not all—Le Meridien will come alive with Coldplay's iconic hits on June 16, July 6, and August 16.
The essence of the candlelight concert goes beyond delivering exceptional music; it's about rekindling connections with iconic artists. Apart from the music, these concerts often a cultural significance, taking place in venues beyond the usual opera houses and concert halls. Previously, they were held in locations like Atomium in Belgium, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah in Dubai. Now, as they make their debut in India, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
