#SpoilerAlert: Here's who Emily ends up with at the end of 'Emily in Paris, Season 3'?
The answer is complicated.
Since Emily in Paris's original premiere, the show's titular character (portrayed by Lily Collins) just can't seem to make up her mind when it comes to love.
Whether it was finding herself accidentally intruding in her neighbour and hottie chef-next-door Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and Parisian frenemy Camille's (Camille Razat) relationship or not being able to decide between said chef and her new British beau Alfie (Lucien Laviscount)—our favorite Chicagoan in Paris finds herself at a romantic crossroads.
Throughout the new season, which is streaming now on Netflix, Emily is consumed by work, thanks to an American takeover of Savoir, and her secretly working for both her American boss Madeline and her French supervisor Sylvie. Because of this, Emily begins to overlook Alfie who is truly into her and ready to fully commit, but calls things off once she forgets to attend his celebration for landing a major banking job in London.
The rest of the season focuses on Emily's staunch efforts to win Alfie back (because, have you seen him?) and later on viewers learn that Alfie did not retreat back to London after breaking up with Emily, but rather accepted a job as Chief Financial Officer for French entrepreneur Antoine Lambert so he could secretly stay close by. The pair eventually get back together (after a slightly cringeworthy karaoke serenade from Emily to Alfie) and all seems well aside from Emily not being able to not quite shake off the prospect of Gabriel, with the two having a number of will-they-or-won't-they moments throughout the season.
Meanwhile, Gabriel is hyper-focused on expanding his restaurant, which causes the intimacy between him and Camille to suffer, and leaves Camille seeking sex and satisfaction from Sofia, an art client at her gallery. Even amid her affair, when Gabriel eventually proposes to Camille (emotionally high from the news his restaurant will soon receive a Michelin star) she still says yes. Not so much because she's still in love with him, but because she felt pressured to maintain the idea of them, even while very much knowing he still has feelings for Emily.
Flash forward to season 3's final episode, and Camille and Gabriel are celebrating their engagement at her parent's house with the whole gang—Emily, Mindy, Alfie, etc.—there to celebrate. After Gabriel suggests they get married right then and there, Camille chokes up at the altar, however, and admits to forcing Emily into a friendship pact that neither of them would ever date Gabriel again and that being the only reason he isn't in a relationship with her right now. Alfie is dumbfounded by the admission, asks Emily if it's indeed true, and immediately leaves after declaring to her that he's no one's second choice.
But wait, there's more. After the failed ceremony, Emily and Gabriel step away to process what just happened and what that means for them, but Gabriel also admits to Emily that there was another reason behind his whirlwind proposal. He reveals that Camille didn't come back to Paris (after a Grecian rendezvous with Sofia) to patch things up with Gabriel, but she only returned to tell Gabriel that she is pregnant. End scene!
So with that said, Emily doesn't seem to end up with anyone come the end of season 3. Alfie has dumped her, and Gabriel seems hesitant to approach a relationship knowing he might be fathering a child with Camille, which leaves our protagonist in romantic limbo and sets us up for a sure-to-be juicy season 4.
