You saw the rise, now get ready to see the rule. Yup, Pushpa 2: The Rule, one of the most-awaited sequels in cinema in recent years, has finally got a release date—August 15, 2024. The Allu Arjun-starrer is set to create a never-seen-before frenzy at the box office and is most likely surpass records set by the first film, Pushpa 1: The Rise.

Last evening Mythri Moviemakers, the producers of the upcoming Telugu film, took to social media to make the announcement.

Along with Arjun as Pushpa, the film will also see the return of Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli and Faasil as Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. The first film ends at a critical point—a new rivalry between Pushpa and Shekhawat has begun and the latter swears revenge on Pushpa. We can't wait to see the two characters go head-to-head with each other in the upcoming sequel.

Allu Arjun, who won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his outstanding performance in the first film, unveiled the first look of the film on his 41st birthday (8th April).

He gave fans a peek inside the sets of Pushpa: The Rule with a special video on Instagram. The clip included a tour of his home and Ramoji Film City where the upcoming movie is being shot.

On August 15, 2024, the movie will be pitted against Ajay Devgn's Singham Again, and we can't wait to see who will rule the box office!
