We presume you’ve heard of the goodness of fermented everything for the skin—both eaten and applied—but rarely have we found products that capitalise on it, and then do it as well as this duo by Estée Lauder. Add to this, they have a clever blend of Korean skin secrets like sweet kelp, red algae, and coconut water that works wonders for sensitive skin and is also miraculous for large pores.

Give us anything with squalane with the changing season and we’ll thank you for its hydration power and antioxidant action. Add to that ingredients like copper peptides, marine algae, omega, and rose oil and the entire range is a perfect curation for detoxed, clearer, tighter, glowing skin. Okay, we cannot recommend this enough. There are very few products that truly change your life, and this one has in the best way possible. It’s bye-bye zits in less than two days! And we are talking about the most stubborn ones. This one with Japanese root extract, tea tree oil, and niacinamide is a must for all beauty shelves. 

 

Sereko Vitamin C Complete Regime, starting from ₹650

Your skincare is incomplete without some calm clarifying, and this entire range by Sereko with ingredients like acerola cherry for skin brightening, niacinamide for improved texture, marine microalgae extract for age spots, and brahmi for fine lines targets a wide variety of everyday skin concerns with the most comforting formula. In fact, the brand has worked to tie in skincare and self care in a psychodermatological formula, and while we can’t vouch for the science of it all, the barely-there soothing smell sure does help lift the mood!

I am always sceptical of eye cream claims. Almost all of them target dark circles, wrinkles, and puffiness, and while for someone who has hereditary dark circles these claims always fall short, this one by 82°E enriched with powerhouses like peptides, glycerine, coconut alkanes, and niacinamide definitely helps with the puffiness and hydrating the under eye area—which, kind of is key to keeping the under eye bright and youthful. 

 

Innisfree Vitamin C Green Tea Enzyme Brightening Serum, ₹2,650

This one from the brand whose Green Tea Seed Serum has not been replaced on most of our skincare racks has been especially exciting, and it sure packs a punch. With its signature Jeju Green Tea Enzyme and a vitamin C formula which includes water-soluble derivatives like 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid—this one delivers the best of both its loved green tea formula with the targeted impact of vitamin C. 

 

Shankara Moisturising Mask, ₹2,450

We’re all in need of lots of pampering this changing season, and the first thing to take a hit is our skin’s moisture barrier, for which masking can be the quickest, most promising solution if done correctly. This mask from one of our most trusted brands has quickly become a go-to. While we might recommend a shorter keep-on period for oily skin, it is sure to leave your skin quenched with ingredients like gotu kola extract, honey, glycerin, oat flour, and calendula. 

 

Skin Story Bold Multistick, ₹3,600

We are so excited the Dubai brand is here in India! And this creamy formula with a brown shade that works for a wide range of skin tones is definitely a favourite. It is a product that stays, and surprisingly is not drying on the skin with its mix of oils. We’re definitely keeping a look out for what the brand launches next, because it has sure aced multitasking products with great shades. 

 

The Body Shop Vitamin C range, starting from ₹1,295

A good vitamin C routine can be a game changer for your skin routine, and this entire range from the Body Shop is your one stop answer for introducing the ingredient through out your skincare steps. We especially love the cleansing polish for that extra bit of TLC for your body leaving you with clearer, smoother skin.

milk_shake make my day range, starting from ₹800

We may have been sold on the brand’s signature vanilla scent of this right at the get go, but our soft and shiny tresses after just one wash with this range of shampoo, conditioner leave-in spray had us coming back to this one for more. One of the best routine shampoo we have used in a while.

Another beauty product that does the job of two, which we are always a fan of—you can pick the highlighter-blush combo or the blush-bronzer combo based on what you’re a fan of, but what we love about this product in the three skincare variations it comes for—dry or oily skin, and even one targeted for dry and dull skin. Who doesn’t want a blush that also heals! 

 

 

The Love Co. In-Shower Moisturizer Mist, ₹1,299

At a time when our skin routines are unendingly littered with steps, anything that does the job quickly and easily helps. And the mist makes moisturising after a shower very very quick. Spritz in the shower or right after and follow with a quick dry, and your skin is ready for the day. It doesn’t get easier. 

 

 

Conscious Chemist Snail Mucin Cream and Cleanser, ₹699 and ₹399

We have been addicted to snail mucin for its ability to help clear skin texture and provide power-packed moisturisation, and were very excited for this one. Though the concentration of snail mucin is very low with this duo, the texture comes through for a win and sure adds the elasticity it promises. The cleanser, in fact, with its lactic acid and bectaine combo does a great job of exfoliation and hydration and is one that would stay in our showers.
